The tribal face was inspired by a banner design i made years ago for a tat convention, and the concept for the werewolf is all in all self-explanatory.
Finding a great grim reaper face isn't easy. i drew this one like a 'portrait' , so to say. The devil is another common theme that fits well with the reaper concept. this design reminds me of something that would be in comic book, a little more towards illustrative, but all in all, one of my favorite sheets.
Not too many other things can evoke such grizzly imagery as that of skulls, 'soup bowl' war helmets, toxic fumes, and world war era gas masks!
These profiles of elaborate horn bearing skulls are extremely useful, such as in mirror imaging them for framing or beginning a back piece, or when using them individually. They are also great for cover-ups, as well.
This page was inspired by special effects makeup. I am fascinated with the art, talent, and ability to alter one's face into that of a monster. I definitely admire those who do this for a living!
